Sage Software

Sage Software Sage Peachtree Complete Accounting 2011 Multi User [OLD VERSION] : It works the same 2012

If you are depending on cost and would like to purchase an accounting package, you can use the 2011 version it does the same as 2012 just for a few minor differnces but you do get the end result.

Crashes when it feels like it. These yearly upgrades are silly – just keep the version you have until you have to upgrade.

I have been using peachtree since the 2004 version, upgrading every 2-3 years. This is my first time to use the multi-user version. Sage peachtree does a fine job of keeping track of our business income and expenses. It is good at managing inventory items. It has a set of reports that work for most things, but creating customized reports is a bit tricky. The keyboard shortcuts are not well designed, which is frustrating. The 2011 version changed a shortcut i frequently used. The multi-user version makes backing up and changing customer ids difficult, because all users have to log out and even then, the program often leaves locked files that cause problems. Peachtree integrates well with shiprush, the new shipping software we are using. Here are the specifications for the Sage Software Sage Peachtree Complete Accounting 2011 Multi User [OLD VERSION]:

  • Sage Peachtree Complete Accounting 2011 Multi-User Edition provides access for 5 users, combining accounting with advanced features like job costing, time and billing, in-depth inventory capabilities, and analysis tools
  • Reduce fraud risk with PA-DSS credit card processing compliance; Electronic bill payment through Sage Peachtree Bill Pay; Sync customer information with Microsoft Outlook contacts
  • Maintain accountability with audit trail reporting; control job revenue and expense at the phase and cost code level
  • Build inventory assemblies and track customer back orders; Average, LIFO and FIFO inventory costing methods
  • Create marketing flyers and newsletters with Microsoft Word integration; Flexible reporting with Microsoft Excel integration

Excellent, good video game , es un regalo genial apra el 2013 , feliz año 2013, merry christmas and happy new year.

Very practical accounting software, user friendly. The software is loaded with a lot more features for advanced users if one needs extras. I recommend this to anyone that needs a small business accounting software.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • GOOD PRODUCT , WRONG FOR ME
  • Wow! Cant believe found it at this price
  • versatile product

I have used peachtree for many years. Was able to put on more than one computer. I like the new updated version.

We bought this product as an upgrade for our 2008 software from peachtree. Almost immediately after installation we started having problems with lock-ups, data migration and incorrect inventory data. I don’t know if the program notified peachtree or it was random chance, but they started to send us emails warning us that having to much data can cause problems with complete accounting 2011. The same problems as we were having. Finally i called and after some negotiation over price(they will negotiate)we ended up buying quantum from sage. The moral of the story is: if you have a small company that’s new, this is a fine, easy to use product. But, if you are a larger company and/or have lots of data and transactions, look into quantum another fine product from sage.

Sage Software Sage Peachtree Premium Accounting 2011 [OLD VERSION] : SAGE 2011

We (a non-profit museum)purchased peachtree premium because it allows us to capture expenses by department with budgets and variances. This was very important for us and peachtree does what we want.

I need to do a bit of bookkeeping for my home business. I’ve used quickbooks for years, but it can’t quite do what i need it to. So, i decided to switch to peachtree. This version is the top of the line that peachtree offers. Of course, it’s the 2011 version and not the new one for 2012 (which costs a couple hundred dollars more). So, i got all the functionality i needed for a small portion of the price of the newer version.

Been using this for a couple of months for a small business, and its great. As in many programs you will need some patience at the beginning;but once you get it running there is so much you can do with this program, reports are endless and very useful.

Key specs for Sage Peachtree Premium Accounting 2011 [OLD VERSION]:

“Nothing Wrong With Last Year’s Version
, Great for Small Businesses
, We selected Peachtree Premium!

If you do not need the latest features, buying this year’s version rather than next years is an excellent value. In my opinion, it is hard to go wrong with this approach.

Only good for one year, then big price to update. Still basic and easy to use.

Registered online with sage itself. Knew what i wanted so i am please to get it as advertised. As always, amazons price is the best.

Sage Software Peachtree By Sage Complete Accounting 2009 Multi User : Great Upgrade

Installation as an upgrade on a 4 computer xp professional network went very well. There were no surprises and all our reports and forms transferred well. I would recommend the product highly.

I ordered this software to update to peachtree complete 2009, multi-user. After loading onto my service & workstations i called to register the software. I was only given a registration number that was for a single user. Now, only one person can work on peachtree at a time. They did not give me a multi-user registration number. I called when i had trouble with multi-user & was told that this was the only registration number that was available for this program. Now i’m switching to quick books (yuck) where i can have up to 5 users.

Haven’t used as it is a back up only copy, however peachtree is my favorite accounting program. Here are the specifications for the Sage Software Peachtree By Sage Complete Accounting 2009 Multi User:

Sage Software Sage 50 Pro Accounting 2013 US [Download] – For professionals

I’m not a huge fan of sage 50 pro accounting. I attempted to use it to modernize my fiance’s accounting system for her business. I took her excel sheets and attempted to input them into the system but found out very quickly how hard it really is to just ‘get’ without a lot of work trying to learn the ui. I’m not against it and it gets the job done i just think the marginal benefit for using this product isn’t worth the effort required to learn the software. If you’ve already purchased it, good luck, else i’d suggest finding something designed with the user more in mind.

Sage 50 pro is easy to use also by non-accountants for up to 30 employees. Some screens closely resemble paper-based forms such as invoices or checks. Payroll tax cannot be entered directly and managing payroll without a $270-$380 subscription is difficult, but not impossible. Payroll calculations can be tediously imported. Similarly, excel allows to import the data from another accounting programs, like quickbooks, through manual linking of individual fields. The complete version adds credit card protection, bill payment, synchronization with outlook, audit trail reporting, depreciation management, and phase and cost code level. The premium version adds multiple budgets incl. Selective printing, change orders, serialized inventory, and easier data archiving and restoring. Sage 50 provides all the controls for accounting practices, extensive documentation and tutorials. The installation is simple, but may require turning firewall off.

Sage 50 is a fairly easy to understand software accounting system and i recommend it. It was easy to use and as long as you’re familiar with these programs it helps with all your business record keeping.

  • it is a good product
  • Great software.
  • Easy to use with subscription tedious to avoid

Peachtree accounting became known as sage not too long ago. Peachtree has been a trusted name in accounting software for decades. I first used peachtree software in the mid 90’s for payroll purposes at a company i worked for at the time. I am primarily a quickbooks user but i wanted to give sage a shot. It is definitely a solid product and while i did not get to the point of using the payroll function, i was surprised to learn that payroll can no longer be entered even manually without a fee. I can understand a fee for the automated service but the fact that there is a charge even for entering it manually strikes me as a really bad and annoying idea. I am glad that i will not have to take that step as i will not be using this software for payroll, but please be advised that this will be an issue for those who do. Otherwise, it seems like a well-planned out piece of software and i could certainly see myself using it on a daily basis (just not with any recurring fees).

It makes me sad that with the 2013 version they have eliminated the manual payroll option. It was a good ‘bragging point’ when having the ‘quickbooks vs peachtree’ debate. I will stick with peachtree/sage 50 but i’m not so sure i will be upgrading to a newer version anytime soon. Let me make a point, though. Whatever faults peachtree/sage has (and there are some) they pale in comparison to the problems with quickbooks. Quickbooks has a 90 percent market share. They aren’t going to make much by increasing market share. So instead they do everything possible under the sun to get you to pay for upgrades and support. But the real problem with quickbooks is that it was designed wrong from day one. It uses a single, massive database instead of multiple connected data bases.

I received this software as part of the amazon vine review program. I have no previous experience with sage or peachtree products, however i have used quickbooks products for managing my freelance writing and ebay business. Sage 50 pro has been designed for small to medium sized businesses. It’s a feature-rich software suite that will appeal to some, and be lacking for others. Other reviewers who have used previous versions have very specific things they do and don’t like about this software, and i suggest reading all the reviews on amazon and going to the sage site to use the free trial and see the breakdown of feature comparisons for all the sage products, prior to making your purchase. This will give you an idea if this software is for you. The video shows you the example company and what you can expect to see once the software is installed, and your company information has been put into it. Recognize that any accounting software requires some study and time to get used to using it. Many frustrations with the software may simply be a matter of a learning curve being too steep for some, thus it’s a good idea to check out the free trial before you buy. My experience with sage 50 pro accounting 2013 is limited, but i like what i see.

Easy to install, set up and use. I have a small business and my accountant suggested this. I am able to submit my quarterly information through email. This version does not include payroll. Payroll is an additional cost.

Sage Software Sage 50 Premium Accounting 2013 US [Download] – Excellent Product

Let me start off by saying this is a wonderful software package. The accounting and inventory portion of this software is premium by far. But that is where the high praise ends for me. This is a subscription based software. This isn’t like owning a copy of coreldraw graphics suite x6, or a copy of microsoft office professional 2010 and it’s yours. You have to shell out money every year to use this software. Plus, it’s not like the previous versions of peachtree where payroll and taxes were inclusive to the software. These are now seperate purchases and are quite costly and are annual subscription based softwares as well. There are several different fees that are required to use the full potential of the software, which they market to you pretty consistenly. So if you put alot of work and investment into your accounting and inventory, using this software, they kind of have you and your business hostage.

I’m seeing many negative reviews and don’t understand. Most are complaining about having to pay for extra features rather than the product itself. Some people want more for nothing. Pros:-easy to set up, use, and learn. Obviously learning comes easier if you have an accounting or reporting background. Lots of features and the interface looks good. -the software helps you determine which tools are most beneficial for your needs. -good for forecasting and managing inventory.

Sage accounting software was easy to install and very user friendly. Sage 50 premium accounting 2013 offer a ton of features that are easy to enact, like check writing, invoicing, purchasing, project tracking, company consolidation, advanced budgeting and data archives. I enjoyed using this software, as it was stable and intuitive, similar to adp e-time sysyems. I did not notice any glitches in the software. My biggest concern for sage software is the extra added costs for customizing your software. Additional features for this product also cost more money. A custom payroll system, for example costs an extra $300 a year. If cost and paying extra fees for added features is not an option, then sage software works fine.

  • Excellent Product
  • Great Software But They Sock It To Your Wallet.
  • Mixed Bag

I don’t know why the makers decided to change the product name from peachtree (which everyone recognizes) to sage, but this does appear to be a wise upgrade to an already decent product. Tech support is good; internet videos are good. So far sage 50 premium does everything i want it to do to run a dual-location business with inventory, branching out with internet sales.

In using sage 50 premium accounting, i replaced a late 2000’s version of intuit’s quickbooks so i do not have the context to compare this to an earlier version of peachtree (what this was called in previous versions). When first becoming familiar with this software, i was immediately impressed with the graphical interface to navigate the menus. I had one customer service question when i started and it was quickly answered via email which was nice. This revolved around a quickbooks import which i could not get to work correctly but eventually managed. My data import was a very simple one to say the least but more complicated imports might have problems. My primary purpose for using accounting a service is to help manage my friends custom bike building business he runs out of a garage. Its a relatively small scale business with no other employees so the ill-fated subscription payroll feature is not relevant to us. Everything else we would need to handle (vendor orders, accounts receivable etc) is easily handles by this software clearly designed for more complex organizations but if you are looking for software for of this size, although it may be overkill, it won’t steer you wrong. The e-marketing portion of the software was somewhat of a letdown. It basically has some functionality to do some social networking and chart/flier generation that other programs do better.

I thought i’d pick an accounting package to manage the finances of the lacrosse program that i run, and, well i got a ferrari where i think a chevy volt would have done the trick. Yes, you can handle all of the basics that you might be looking for. It works great for managing the money flow, and i particularly like the marketing tools (the social networking and survey functions are particularly useful. Best of all for me, we don’t have payroll. I have read the complaints about that function, but it didn’t affect me. Another positive aspect is that, for a non-professional, i was able to get going on this pretty quickly and easily. The interface is very intuitive. I would definitely recommend this for any small business. As i mentioned, however, it is a little over powered for what i am using it for.

Sage Software Peachtree Complete Accounting 2010 – Not quite as good as expected

I am computer smart and good at learning new software, but have no accounting experience. Figuring out what to do here is not easy. I think i should have bought quick books.

Ordered to use with an online college class. Couldn’t beat the price anywhere and works perfectly. This item arrived exactly as described. Very pleased with this purchase.

I switched from quickbooks to peachtree back in 2002 and i have never regretted my decision. I find the screens very intuitive and all the information i need to run my business on a daily basis is right in front of me. In this case, i upgraded from the 2004 version. I was up and running again in about 20 minutes. I found the transition to be smooth and painless, all my 2004 version data was exported automatically and in the proper format. If you’re looking for an alternative to quickbooks at a great price, go with peachtree.

I’ve used other software in the past (i’ve tried 5 others) and found peachtree to be the best for your money. Does everything it’s suppose to and more if i wanted to.

  • Accounting software that makes sense!
  • Peachtree By Sage Complete Accounting 2010
  • Peachtree is Perfect

Peachtree Complete Accounting 2010

  • Peachtree by Sage Complete Accounting 2010 provides robust core accounting for small businesses.
  • Plus features like job costing, time and billing, and in-depth inventory capabilities
  • More than 125 customizable business reports and financial statements, user-friendly tools, multiple Help options, and advanced capabilities available
  • Save time with simplified navigation, integration with Microsoft Excel, multi-tasking screens, and comparative budgeting
  • Designed for owners and managers of service- or product-oriented small businesses who need robust accounting functionality plus in-depth analysis

A very complete accounting software program that can be customized for a large or small business. I was very impressed with the features for mailing, billing, and target marketing. The sample companies could use a procedural tutorial. The business catagories could have more offerings.

First let me say, peachtree complete is doing what i wanted in a book keeping program. Now for the “ok”i feel sage should re-look at this product, it can really use some refreshinginterface and report appearance touches. I also had problems with registering the product (in pakistan?) and obtaining my 30 day free service. Upon requesting some help the first time, it took 45min. Of security conformations and 3 differentdepartments to finally reach a tech. I was fuming about all their security checks becausethey seemed paranoid that customer might get a minute of “free” assistance. Customer satisfaction is certainly not their priority. Upon finally reaching the technical department – they could not help me with my questionif think a business person trying to start keeping their own books would find peachtree completenext to impossible to use. Once the setup wizard completes your company setup (which did a fine job) yousuddenly find yourself alone at the entrance of this large program, with a list of what you shoulddo to get started, but no instructions on how to do them.

I purchased this to learn it so that i can up-skill myself. I had never heard of it until i went looking for some of the more common accounting packages in use today. (i’m originally from the southern hemisphere which explains my ignorance. )i have used various accounting products (many tailor-made to a company) and this is so easy to follow and makes many other complicated packages look like a waste of time. It comes with a great instruction booklet that is easy to follow, i wonder why i bought the dummy’s guide as i don’t think i would have needed it. I have only had it a few days, but already i can see that this is going to be easy to learn. My husband who has no experience with accounting found it pretty straight-forward too. For businesses, whether start-up or existing, i would recommend it. They even offer a $50 cash-back if you’re switching over from quickbooks. To be honest, i don’t know why more companies aren’t using this software.

Sage Software Sage Peachtree Complete Accounting 2011 [OLD VERSION] – Five Stars

Highly recommend buying old versions. If you don’t need the latest fully loaded version.

Ordered it, had it installed but haven’t used it yet. My daughter in law says that it should be easy.

I actually prefer most of what this program has to offer. In a lot of ways it is much better than qb. What i do not like is that it makes you close out a year before moving into the next year. I like to be able to go back. It does let you go back after you have closed, and even make changes, but i don’t like it. I also don’t like the way it does not allow you to sub-categorize your accounts and lists. It forced me to code number everything so that i could group them together, which may be good and simple in some regards, but i like to be able to identify in subcategories. So, i am a yes and no on this product, i guess i am the same with qb too, so i really don’t know which i ultimately prefer.

We needed to upgrade from pt 2008 for win 7. Nice new feature is you can open multiple companies and look at them side by side which becomes invaluable when working with intercompany transfers or analyzing multiple companies for planning. We had trouble registering and required three calls to tech support before they could straighten it out. Tech support thought it was because we had to upgrade our databases from pt 2008. Once registered it’s works great and if you know accounting its far easier to use than qbs.

  • It’s an accounting system, what do you want?
  • Better than QBs
  • Best Version Ever

Sage Peachtree Complete Accounting 2011 [OLD VERSION]

  • Reduce fraud risk with PA-DSS credit card processing compliance; Electronic bill payment through Sage Peachtree Bill Pay;
  • Create marketing flyers and newsletters with Microsoft Word integration; Flexible reporting with Microsoft Excel integration

I used to like both quicken and quickbooks. The constant changes to both programs became too much of nusiance. I used peachtree complete 2004, but when i upgraded my computer, which of course became vista then windows 7, i couldn’t use the program anymore. I decided to try quickbooks 2009. Learning a new program, which required more updates, and trying to convert files from peachtree to quickbooks was a task in itself. As such, i decided to go back to peachtree. I’m glad i did, because i was able to use all of my files from 2004, and go right to work.

First off, it’s not intuit, that is a big plus. Intuit has a bad policy of snooping inside your computer to see what you are doing. You agree to it by agreeing to the user agreement. I haven’t seen any evidence of peachtree doing anything like that. Easy to use (although i told it to purge old transactions once and it made my balance sheet out of balance). Long story, but be sure to pay close attention to the account classifications when setting up an account. I set up a new account on the income statement but peachtree treated it like it was a balance sheet account when the old transactions were purged and it resulted in an imbalance that could only be corrected through some specific steps. Not a perfect system for audit trails. Very easy to edit things, which is great for home users but not so great for commercial use.

I like the new updated version from sage. It is more versitile and user friendly. I have used peachtree for many years.

Sage Software Peachtree By Sage Complete Accounting 2009 [OLD VERSION], The easiest accounting program made prettier

I’ve been working with peachtree for some time now and i think it’s a great program – simple and easy and yet there are so many things you can do with it.

Looked like new, not even a scratch on the cd.

Peachtree By Sage Complete Accounting 2009 [OLD VERSION]

  • ACCOUNTING 2009

I gave the 2008 version a pretty scathing review, however, (after a couple days mind you) this version seems to reach all the promise of 2008 that was unfullfilled. I guess the biggest new feature is the ability to look at more than 2 years of data but to me the improvements are in the stability and speed. Things actually open fast, like they were suppose to in 2008. I had various bugs in 2008(backups freezing, front screen not showing any data etc. ) that have miraculously disappeared with 2009. I have been using this single user version but also have a network version i will install soon. I never installed 2008 on the network after being so disappointed with it in the single environment. I will update the rating if things change and will likely post under the multi-user version once i get that installed but after reading what they improved they seem to have focused on improving the network abilities of peachtree so i’m hopeful the speed and stability carries over to the multi-version as well. The install was flawless and recognized the anti-virus and firewall by name and gave detailed instructions on dealing with both during install. I am running on vista and also on a pretty updated machine with max memory so i can’t vouch for slower machines until i do the network install.

Why did they have to take something that worked great and totally change the appearance to make it looke like another lesser product. Peachtree is a workhorse and runs great but i hate the new screens and layout, it’s not as easy as previous versions to get around and find what you need.

Peachtree is more robust than quickbooks because it is fully a ‘double entry’ accounting product while quickbooks tracks cash and does not give the user control over where the ‘other side’ of the entry is recorded in the financial statements. Having said that, peachtree software is written so that the user can only migrate the accounting database up to a more costly peachtree accounting product. Peachtree complete accounting 2009 database will automatically be moved to complete accounting multi user or to peachtree distribution 2009 or the other industry specific products. However it is not possible to move the distribution accounting database down to the less costly complete accounting product. Also the distribution database cannot be moved to the manufacturing specific product. Peachtree has designed their products to be difficult for the user to change from their more costly accounting products to their less costly products. As a user i am disappointed with peachtree’s effort to keep the user hooked on the more costly accounting product. To move back to a less costly accounting product the user has to set up the company information, chart of accounts and beginning balances as though it were a first time user.

Peachtree By Sage Complete Accounting 2009 [OLD VERSION] : This is an excellent accounting software. I had never use a peachtree accounting software before, although i was familiar with other accounting programs. As a graduate accounting student, i had been using different accounting softwares the to do the bookkeepings for several small bussinesses for families and friends. After several months of trying out, i found that this is the best accounting software available. Before i bought this software i checked around for descriptions and features by going directly to peachtree. As for the price, even peachtree is giving out some tempting discounts, the price for this software on amazon. As always of my purchases on amazon. Com, better price than anywhere else and no coupon needed.

Sage Software Sage 50 Pro Accounting 2013 US [Download] – Easy to use with subscription tedious to avoid

I have some issues with this software. While i find the sage 50 pro accounting design very intuitive, easy to install and navigate, there are some significant shortfalls. The software can be unstable. I’ve used the software for several months, and had to resort to installation repair before opening. There is also no ability to reconcile bank accounts online, or with any type of transaction download. I also can’t get sage accounting to cooperate with microsoft outlook. I did contact technical support regarding this but still could not get the situation resolved. Due to microsoft compatibility issues and unstable software problems, i would not recommend this software.

It makes me sad that with the 2013 version they have eliminated the manual payroll option. It was a good “bragging point” when having the “quickbooks vs peachtree” debate.

The decision for whether or not you want this software really breaks down to a couple of considerations. — are you very conversant with accounting?. Once installed, sage 50 complete immediately displays its serious accounting credentials in a setup wizard that asks questions you don’t get from some competitors – for example, whether you want to post transactions in real time or in batches, and whether you prefer to use cash or accrual accounting. — do you have a lot of inventory to keep track of?.The 2013 edition expands the inventory analysis capabilities of sage business intelligence, the tool that integrates with microsoft excel (2003 or later) to move data into spreadsheets for advanced forecasting and other tasks. This is good, and a major selling point, but not for every business. — do you have a separate payroll system or are you willing to pay each time the tax tables change?. Sage has made it more difficult to manage payroll without enrolling in one of its subscription-based payroll add-on services. Previously, you could manually update tax tables and then run payroll calculations in the program. Now, without a service, you must perform payroll calculations outside of the program and import the results – a time-consuming process, to say the least.

Sage 50 is a fairly easy to understand software accounting system and i recommend it. It was easy to use and as long as you’re familiar with these programs it helps with all your business record keeping.

Sage Software Peachtree by Sage Professional Accounting 2009 – Not Quickbooks but a lot less expensive!

I got this because it advertised that it could import quickbooks data and i was trying to avoid spending the $$$$ for quickbooks. I also didn’t like the trial version of quickbooks 2009. Well, this does import from quickbooks but the little piece of information peachtree sage left out was that it only imports the chart of accounts etc. Complete waste of time and $$$$ unless you want to spend hours entering all your past years figures. It does have some great information about the details of accounting and i probably would use it if i didn’t care about having all my past years transactions available to view reports i value like ytd compared to previous years. Peachtree suggests starting the new year with their software and entering just the totals from previous years. For me, it’s the details that give me the information to see exactly where my business needs tweaking and where it is flourishing. Perhaps the automakers could have used this information on their business practices to their benefit. Anyway, this is a good accounting program if you want something that doesn’t cost much, you don’t want to import transaction details from previous years, and you need more information about specific accounting practices.

Used this in college, it’s worth having if you’re getting into accounting.

Very pleased with my order of peachtree. It was everything and more than i expected.

The peachtree product arrived in just a few days and installed cleanly with the supplied installation key. I am new to the peachtree product so cannot comment on specifics yet, but the experience with the seller was a positive one and went without a hitch.
